Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the SMB server component where the send done function needs to handle completions that lack the IB SEND SIGNALED flag. During smbdirect send batch processing, requests may be created without this flag and are typically destroyed by the final request that includes it. However, if a connection is broken, all requests are signaled regardless of whether IB SEND SIGNALED was explicitly set.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
