Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A page pool leak occurs in the net: lan966x component during error paths. Specifically, the function
lan966x fdma rx alloc() creates a page pool but fails to destroy it if the subsequent fdma alloc coherent() call fails. Additionally, lan966x fdma init() frees coherent DMA memory when lan966x fdma tx alloc() fails but does not destroy the page pool previously created by lan966x fdma rx alloc().Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
