CVE-2026-7053

CVSS v2.0

9.0

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Tenda F456 version 1.0.0.5
Description A buffer overflow exists in the httpd component within the frmL7ProtForm() function of the /goform/L7Prot file. This issue occurs due to a lack of input size validation when processing the page parameter. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted POST request to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the /goform/L7Prot endpoint or disable the frmL7ProtForm() function to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
