CVE-2026-7057

CVSS v2.0

9.0

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Tenda F456 version 1.0.0.5
Description A buffer overflow exists in the fromSetCfm() function within the httpd component of the firmware. This issue occurs due to the lack of input size validation when copying buffers while processing the funcname and funcpara1 parameters. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted POST request to the '/goform/setcfm' endpoint to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the '/goform/setcfm' endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
