Description
A security issue exists that can lead to a denial-of-service condition. The issue is triggered during fuzzing of multiple Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) classes, causing the CIP port to become unresponsive. CIP is a widely used industrial protocol for communication between devices in automation systems. Fuzzing is a testing technique that involves providing invalid, unexpected, or random data as input to a program to identify vulnerabilities.
