Description An issue exists in the sched ext component where the is bpf migration disabled() function produces a false negative on systems where CONFIG PREEMPT RCU is disabled. This occurs because the BPF prolog bpf prog enter() only calls migrate disable() when CONFIG PREEMPT RCU is enabled. In non-PREEMPT RCU configurations, an unconditional check for p == current can incorrectly identify a task's migration status, potentially allowing a migration-disabled task to be dispatched to a remote CPU and triggering an scx error in the task can run on remote rq() function.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
