Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the drm/i915/dsi component where horizontal timing values are incorrectly adjusted based on the compression ratio while in command mode. This behavior can lead to a division-by-zero error on certain machines because the adjusted
htotal value becomes small enough to result in line time us being zero during the determination of the vtotal value in command mode.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
