Description An issue exists in the net/mlx5 component where a failure during switchdev mode transition triggers an incorrect rollback to legacy mode. This process unregisters the uplink netdev and leaves it in an unregistered state, leading to a kernel bug. The problem is related to the failure to set the MLX5 PRIV FLAGS SWITCH LEGACY flag during the rollback process.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
