Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak occurs in the
io uring/zcrx component. Specifically, when the io populate area dma() function fails on a PAGE POOL 32BIT ARCH WITH 64BIT DMA machine, the io zcrx map area() function leaves an initialized table that is not freed. This happens because the !is mapped condition prevents the necessary cleanup in the error path.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
