Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A race condition exists where the xenwatch thread can conflict with other back-end change notifications. This may lead to the xen 9pfs front free() function being called twice, resulting in a double-free (a situation where memory is released twice, which can corrupt memory management) and causing a general protection fault that crashes the system.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
