Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the drm/i915 component where the length attribute of a scatterlist may overflow when a scatterlists table of a GEM shmem object of 4 GB or more is populated with pages allocated from a folio. This occurs if the total byte length of pages allocated to a single scatterlist reaches or exceeds the 4 GB limit, potentially causing users of the object to encounter an unexpected and premature end of the object's backing pages. The issue is related to the remap sg() function.
