Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the
drm/amdgpu component where the amdgpu userq signal ioctl function lacks proper upper bound checks on user inputs. Providing excessively large input values can lead to an Out-Of-Memory (OOM) condition, which is a state where the system exhausts its available memory, potentially resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
