Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A crash can occur in the Linux kernel when removing or inserting modules that contain kprobe probes after ftrace has been killed due to errors. This happens because kprobes on ftrace do not correctly handle the
kprobe ftrace disabled flag set by the ftrace kill() function, leading to a page fault during the kprobes module callback() process.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
