CVE-2026-43469

CVSS v3.1

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the xprtrdma component where the rpcrdma post recvs() function fails to decrement the re receiving variable on early exit paths, such as during memory allocation failures. This can lead to a system hang in the rpcrdma xprt drain() function because re receiving never reaches zero, preventing the completion trigger. Under high memory pressure, this may manifest as a blocked task.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
