Description
A heap-based buffer overflow in a Network management service allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. This could lead to a full system compromise or a denial-of-service (DoS) condition affecting the impacted system process. A heap-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a heap-allocated memory block than it can hold, potentially overwriting adjacent memory.
