Description
A heap-based buffer overflow in the ionic cloud driver for VMware ESXi could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. A heap-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a heap-allocated memory block than it can hold, potentially corrupting adjacent memory.
