Description An issue exists in the lan78xx USB driver where a warning may be triggered in the netif napi del locked() function during a USB device disconnect. This occurs because the netif napi del() function is called in the disconnect path while NAPI (New API, a mechanism for reducing the overhead of interrupt-driven packet processing) is still enabled. The call is redundant because unregister netdev() automatically and safely handles NAPI teardown.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
