Description
A buffer overflow in the IKEv2 processing allows an unauthenticated network-based attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges on the firewall or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. A buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a block of memory, or buffer, than it is designed to hold, potentially overwriting adjacent memory locations.
