A buffer overflow occurs during the handling of input fields, allowing a local attacker to crash the application. By injecting payloads exceeding 4108 bytes into the
Host, Time Out, Packet Size, Pause, or Loops fields, a denial of service condition is triggered. A buffer overflow is a condition where a program writes more data to a block of memory than it can hold, potentially overwriting adjacent memory.Recommendations
