CVE-2026-8903
CVSS v3.1
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N |
The Two-factor authentication (formerly IP Vault) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ipv save changes function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's firewall and two-factor authentication settings — including the operating mode, request include/exclude rules, authentication slug, and log retention period — potentially disabling protection entirely via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
