Description
A memory leak occurs in the
ntfs fill super() function within the ntfs3 file system. The fc->fs private pointer is set to NULL before the memory it references is freed, which prevents the ntfs fs free() function from releasing the ntfs mount options structure. This results in a kmemleak, where memory remains allocated but is no longer reachable by the system.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
