Description
A use-after-free issue exists in the brcmfmac WiFi driver. This occurs when the watchdog task ends between the
send sig() and kthread stop() function calls. A use-after-free is a situation where a program continues to use a pointer after the memory it points to has been freed.Recommendations
Update to kernel-devel-7.0.11-1.1 for openSUSE Tumbleweed.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability for the Linux kernel.
