Description An issue exists in the spi: mpc52xx component where the controller is not properly deregistered before the driver unbinds. This leads to a failure in ensuring the controller is deregistered prior to the disabling and releasing of underlying resources, such as interrupts and gpios (General Purpose Input/Output pins, which are configurable pins used for various digital input and output operations).
Recommendations Update to kernel-devel-7.0.11-1.1 for openSUSE Tumbleweed. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability for the Linux kernel.
