Description An issue exists in the batman-adv module where the tp meter fails to reject new sender or receiver sessions during the teardown process. Specifically, the system does not prevent tp meter from starting new sessions after the mesh state has transitioned away from BATADV MESH ACTIVE.
Recommendations Update to kernel-devel-7.0.11-1.1 for openSUSE Tumbleweed. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability for the Linux kernel.
