Description
A use-after-free issue exists in the Linux kernel within the
spi: mpc52xx component. The state machine work is scheduled by the interrupt handler; if not cancelled after disabling interrupts, it can lead to a use-after-free condition, which occurs when a program continues to use a pointer after it has been freed.Recommendations
Update to kernel-devel-7.0.11-1.1 for openSUSE Tumbleweed.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability for the Linux kernel.
