Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
spi: ch341 driver where device managed resources were tied to the parent USB device instead of the USB interface. This can lead to memory leaks when drivers are unbound without the physical disconnection of devices, such as during configuration changes or probe deferral. The fix ensures that controller and driver data lifetimes are correctly released upon driver unbind and that the SPI controller is properly positioned under the USB interface in the device tree.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
