CVE-2026-46235

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the saa7164 dev setup() function within the media component. The system fails to verify the return values of ioremap for BAR0 or BAR2. This lack of validation can lead to null pointer dereferences—where the software attempts to read from a memory address that is null—and prevents the proper release of allocated PCI memory regions, removal of the device from the global list, and decrementing of the device count upon memory mapping failures.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
