Description
AppArmor SAUCE patches contain a flaw in the notification handling code that causes the system to incorrectly sleep while holding a spinlock. A spinlock is a locking mechanism used to protect shared resources in a kernel. This issue can be triggered by an unprivileged local user, potentially leading to a kernel panic or a deadlock, where two or more execution threads are blocked forever, waiting for each other.
