Description
SAUCE patches contain a possible NULL pointer dereference, which occurs when the system handles AF INET/AF INET6 socket mediation. A NULL pointer dereference is a situation where a program attempts to read or write to a memory address that is null, typically leading to a crash. This issue can be triggered by an unprivileged local user, potentially resulting in a kernel oops, which is a type of kernel error that indicates a non-fatal crash or a state where the kernel cannot continue normal operation.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
