Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
LinkAce versions prior to 2.5.6
Description
A stored cross-site scripting issue exists in instances configured with SSO/OAuth authentication. A low-privilege user can execute arbitrary JavaScript in an administrator's browser session by setting their OAuth display name to a malicious script and creating an API token, which plants a persistent payload in the audit log. When an administrator accesses the '/system/audit' endpoint, the payload executes, potentially leading to session cookie theft, CSRF token exfiltration via the
la-app-data meta tag, or other administrative actions.Recommendations
Update to version 2.5.6.
