Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Open ISES Project version 3.30A
Description An SQL injection flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL queries. This is achieved by injecting malicious code via the frm passwd parameter when sending POST requests to the 'main.php' endpoint. This can lead to the extraction of sensitive database information, such as usernames, database names, and version details.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary mitigation, restrict access to the 'main.php' endpoint or avoid using the frm passwd parameter until a fix is available.
