Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Open ISES Project version 3.30A
Description An SQL injection issue allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL queries. This is achieved by injecting malicious code into the tick lat and tick lng parameters via GET requests sent to the 'nearby.php' endpoint. This flaw can be used to extract sensitive database information, such as usernames, database names, and version details.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. Avoid using the tick lat and tick lng parameters in the 'nearby.php' endpoint until the issue is resolved.
