Description
A buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a memory buffer than it can hold, potentially leading to crashes or code execution. This issue allows local attackers to cause a denial of service by providing an oversized input string. Specifically, pasting a malicious buffer of 700 bytes into the IP address or domain input fields triggers the application crash.
