Description
A heap buffer overflow occurs in the
m2tsdmx send packet() function within the filters/dmx m2ts.c component. This issue allows an attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by providing a specially crafted MP4 file. A heap buffer overflow is a condition where more data is written to a memory block allocated on the heap than it can hold, potentially corrupting adjacent memory.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
