The UPnP AddPortMapping feature allows external ports to be forwarded to the router's own administration interface. This occurs because the system accepts the router's own IP (192.168.1.1) or localhost (127.0.0.1) as the
InternalClient variable. An unauthenticated attacker on the local area network can expose the administration panel to the internet using a single SOAP request.Recommendations
