Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to the dmaengine subsystem and the idxd component. The issue involves device leaks occurring during compatibility bind and unbind operations. Specifically, a reference to the idxd device is not properly dropped when using the compatibility sysfs interface, leading to potential resource leaks.
