CVE-2026-23006

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to a null pointer dereference within the ASoC (ALSA on System-on-Chip) subsystem, specifically in the tlv320adcx140 driver. The snd soc component within the adcx140 priv structure was not properly initialized, leading to potential issues when accessing the dev pointer. This pointer is already available within the adcx140 priv structure, making the snd soc component redundant in this context.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
