CVSS v3.1
6.4
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
The Avalon23 Products Filter for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'avalon23 qr' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.6. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes (notably 'title' and 'fixed link') which are concatenated directly into single-quoted HTML attributes by the AVALON23 HELPER::draw html item() helper without esc attr() or any other encoding. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
