Description
An issue exists in the ublk component where the per-IO canceled flag may remain set if a ublk server dies after issuing some, but not all, fetch commands during device recovery. Because these flags are normally reset only after all IOs in a queue are fetched, a partial fetch prevents the
ublk cancel cmd() function from calling io uring cmd done() on outstanding commands, meaning the cancellation of those fetch commands never completes.Recommendations
