Description An unauthenticated stack-based buffer overflow occurs in the vlsvr component due to insufficient length validation when processing remote login data. A remote attacker can send crafted login data with excessively long input to cause memory corruption, leading to a denial of service or potential arbitrary code execution.

Recommendations Update GeoVision GV-LPC2011 to version 1.13 or later. Update GeoVision GV-LPC2211 to version 1.13 or later.
