Description
An integer overflow occurs in the
dal vector reserve() function when calculating allocation size using uint32 t arithmetic. This can cause the system to allocate a buffer smaller than required, leading to heap overflows during subsequent vector appends. A heap overflow is a condition where data is written beyond the boundaries of a memory buffer allocated on the heap.Recommendations
