CVE-2026-53343

None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the ARM architecture implementation where the switch to() function performs a dummy read from the KASAN VMAP stack shadow using the ldr instruction. Because the KASAN shadow address is byte-granular and not guaranteed to be word aligned, ARMv5 systems may trigger an alignment exception, leading to a system crash before initialization. This occurs specifically when CONFIG KASAN VMALLOC and CONFIG VMAP STACK are enabled.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
