Description A device leak exists in the dmaengine subsystem, specifically within the at hdmac component and the of dma xlate() function. The issue occurs because a reference to a DMA platform device is not dropped when releasing channel resources during successful allocation. A previous commit addressed the leak in some error paths, but the leak persists in successful allocation scenarios.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
