Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak exists in the
nfs4 ff alloc deviceid node() function within the pnfs/flexfiles component. If memory allocation for ds versions fails, the function does not free the already allocated dsaddrs list before exiting, resulting in a memory leak. The fix involves jumping to a different label, out err drain dsaddrs, which ensures the dsaddrs list is properly freed.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
