Description An issue exists in the IT asset and license management system where the endpoints 'PATCH /api/v1/maintenances/{maintenance id}' and 'PUT /api/v1/maintenances/{maintenance id}' fail to re-authorize assets when updating records. While the system checks access to the current maintenance record and asset, it allows attacker-controlled fields, such as asset id, to be updated without verifying the new asset. This enables an authorized user to move a maintenance record to an asset that is outside their company scope.
