Description
A heap-based buffer overflow exists in the Windows NTFS file system. This issue allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges through a physical attack, such as using a rogue USB device. A heap-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a heap memory buffer than it can hold, potentially leading to memory corruption.
