CVE-2026-23050

None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw related to the pNFS (parallel Network File System) implementation. Specifically, a deadlock can occur when returning a delegation during an open operation. This happens when a delegreturn waits for a layout return that cannot complete due to an ongoing state recovery process, which itself is blocked until the open operation finishes processing delegations. The resolution involves propagating existing flags to the pnfs roc() function to prevent it from waiting in this scenario.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
