Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the Bluetooth 6lowpan component where the send mcast pkt() function calls skb clone() without verifying its return value. Because skb clone() can return NULL during memory allocation failures, this omission leads to a NULL pointer dereference in the send pkt() function when it attempts to access skb->data.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
