Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the networking subsystem, specifically in the
net/sched component related to the act ife functionality. The issue arises from a potential NULL dereference in the tcf ife encode() function if ife encode() returns NULL. This can lead to a general protection fault, as reported by the syzbot fuzzer. The vulnerability is located in the ife tlv meta encode function within the net/ife/ife.c file.Recommendations
