Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists where ACPI PRM calls are delegated to a workqueue running in a kernel thread to detect and mitigate faulting memory accesses by firmware. Because these PRM accesses can occur before the
efisubsys init() function executes, the workqueue may not yet be allocated, resulting in NULL pointer dereferences.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
